"Cause I'm a gypsy, are you coming with me?"

Top - Vintage
Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Bag - River Island
Sandals Topshop
Necklace - Vintage

Coming back from Thailand I have been really inspired by all the ethnic print clothing, I managed to bag two bargain ethnic print trousers that I basically live in in my flat. I also follow Sara's blog at http://waiste.blogspot.co.uk/ and if any of you follow her as well you will know that she wears some incredible hippy inspired outfits, so hence I decided to do a post inspired by Thailand and the wonderful Sara at Waiste.

The crochet top was a recent purchase from Rokit Vintage, only £15 and considering the amount of beading and detail I thought it was an absolute steal, especially as they are trying to sell similar ones in Topshop for around £40! I then paired it with my ethnic print maxi and my Topshop flatform sandals. I mainly love this outfit because it's so comfy and relaxed yet I still look like I have put a bit of effort into what I'm wearing. The perfect way to dress in my opinion.

Edward Scissor Hands

I am lovinggggg the weather at the moment, I can have my legs out all the time, even if they aren't that tanned.

So today I decided to bring out an old dress that I actually haven't worn that much and I really don't know why because it's gorgeous. I think I have fallen in love with it all over again, mainly because it looks like Edward Scissors hands has taken a liking to it. I then paired it with my Topshop patent boots and another of my Dad's hats (but shhh let's hope he doesn't read this!).

I also 'borrowed' my Mum's black cross necklace and layered it with my own cross necklace, which was actually given to me for my Baptism, when I was little, some things just don't go out of fashion.

Does anyone else like 'borrowing' things off their parents? Or am I just weird?!

New Online T-shirt Company - Aztekkers

Logo for website

Hello everyone,

So I want to introduce you all to a new brand called Aztekkers.
Aztekkers is a solely online tshirt company set up by my brother's friend Sam and his girlfriend Lucy. Their brand offers something different and quirky and their designs are definitely unlike anything I have seen before (and I mean that in a good way).

All of their designs are originally hand drawn by Lucy and later digitally printed onto tshirts/ sweatshirts for the ultimate personal finish. This brand gives you quality and quirkiness in a fun and new way, personally I love the designs, I have my eye on the owl design (pictured below).

So if you like something a bit different and edgy then you can check them out in the following places:

I hope you are all enjoying the sun, I am off out to the cinema tonight to watch 'The Conjuring', I think I will definitely be hiding behind my popcorn!

Asymmetrical

Hello everyone,

How are you all doing? I have had such a hectic week, the second I came back off holiday I had to move out of my old flat into my new one, which I have to say I love, it definitely feels more like a grown ups pad rather than a students. I was thinking I might upload some pics once I have done all the finishing touches so you can all see the place I call home :). Then once we had moved in the job hunting began and I have to say job hunting actually feels like a full time job!

But in the midst of all the chaos I never like to forget about my blog and all my lovely followers, so here is an outfit shoot I did whilst I was in Thailand. Unfortunately the day I decided to where this dress is decided to have a monsoon and we were stranded in the room for a few hours. I got this dress in the Urban Outfitter sale, I think it was £20, its so sleek and elegant but I thought I would add I slightly sporty twist with my converse.

What do you all think?

Dress - Urban Outfitters
Converse - Office
Necklace - Topshop
Bracelets - Assorted River Island and gifts.

I hope you are all having a great week so far and for all of your graduating right now congrats, mines next week and I'm still trying to figure out what to wear!

Thailand!

Hello again...

Some of you might have noticed that I have been away from my blog for a little while (two weeks to be precise). Well the reason for being away was because I was on holiday in Thailand, kind of a celebratory get away from all the stress of exams and job hunting. I have to say Thailand is a beautiful place, we stayed on a little island called Phuket, which is surrounded by even smaller islands where James Bond and the movie the Beach starring Leonardo Di Caprio were filmed. The only thing I did think was a shame was that the island was trying to cater to tourists too much, it should be the other way round, the tourists should be adapting to the island. I really wanted the true 'Thai' experience, with lots of Thai food as I love all the Thai restaurants in London but unfortunately that didn't happen, as most of the restaurants actually served Italian, Russian or American food!

But besides the slight over emphasis on tourists, Thailand is still a beautiful place, with plenty to see and do. Snorkeling in the lagoons and white water rafting combined with elephant trekking through the forests had to be the highlight of my trip.

Has anyone else got any big holiday plans?
