Make a statement

Hey guys...

So finally after a few weeks without an outfit post...ta daaa! I am always such a bad blogger while I am at uni and it gets hard to find the time to take outfit posts. However, now that I am home I have no excuses and I promise to do my best to keep on top.

Today I have been styling my extremely awesome trousers that I purchased from Topshop a couple of weeks back. I wore them out in shoreditch last weekend for a friends birthday as I wanted to try and keep up with the trendy/quirky vibe shoreditch has going on. Anyway later on into the night as I was walking home, I was actually asked my an American which clubs I recommended around here, I replied back saying that I actually wasn't from around here and so didn't know many and his reply was "what with those pants your not from around here". So result, I actually managed to make myself look 'shoreditchy' :)

The trousers are also perfect for the snowy weather we are having at the moment as they are cropped so there is no chance of them getting wet. I them paired them with a plain black top as I wanted to let the trousers do all the talking. For accessories I wore my £10 Topshop boots, I reckon the best bargain I have ever got! And I decided to go all out on the ear bling and doubled up on my ear cuffs.

What do you guys think? Anyone else rocking the statement trousers?

Simple is Beautiful...

Simple is Beautiful with Missguided, Topshop, Motel Rocks

Hey guys, so just a quick post today as I got back home last night from University and so still have a whole suitcase to unpack. I was actually so excited to be home because I can take some great photos outside, however, just my luck we were hit with a blizzard last night and I'm now kind of stranded in the house. So unless wellies are the new fashion accessory I may have to wait a day or too before I can do an outfit post.

Anyway just thought I would share with you some of the fashionable goodies I'm loving at the moment. I found this dress on MotelRocks, I just love the pattern, don't you? I then thought it would look cool paired with these awesome open toe boots from Topshop and this funky neon satchel from Missguided. I haven't been the biggest fan of the neon trend I think only because I'm slightly scared to wear such bright colours, however, this bag is gorgeous and I think a hint of neon can add that extra quirkiness to an outfit. And of course where would a girl be without her bowler hat (Topshop) and some bling (Urban Outfitters).

Anyone else a fan of the neon trend?

Simple Monochrome

Hello everyone...

So today I was feeling a bit stressed from my uni work, including a dissertation that I seem to have been suffering from writers block with for the past two days and a new 4,000 word write up that I need to start. There is just not enough hours!

Anyway, I decided that to try and help with my writers block and to help relieve some of my stress I would get a little bit creative and do a nail art post. Now I know I am a bit late jumping on the monochrome trend, however, I don't think the black and white combo will ever out date. I actually have some really awesome monochrome trousers to show you all but I'm waiting for the weather to improve so that I can show them off in the best light :). 

So what do you guys think to my latest design?

To create this simple design all you need is a black base coat and then a white nail art pen and then literally do whatever design takes your fancy (I know slightly obvious but I feel I have to give some instructions on how I did it).

Is anyone else still rocking the monochrome trend, or am I the only late arriver into this trend?

The End of the World is near....GFC is going!

Hey Everyone....

I am so sorry for the lack of posts recently, it's coming to the end of term and so I have been majorly swamped with my dissertation and various other essays. I promise this weekend I will be back on it.

But on a different note and I know you are all probably sick and tired of hearing about it, but GFC is going. Google announced it a couple of days a go and so we will officially lose Google Reader on the 1st July.
