Wish List of the Week

Hello everyone,

Sorry I have been lacking on the posts recently, I have been busy organising a surprise 21st birthday party for my boyfriend, which turned out to be not such a surprise in the end! Apparently the fact I was applying fake tan and buying shoes and generally making more effort than normal, meant a big event was going down.

Anyway here is what I have been lusting after this week. I know all these picks aren't full of the most summery of colours but for some reason I am always drawn to blacks and greys. Also I am in love with anything that flows at the moment, especially things that I can twirl and prance around in and I think these picks are perfect for that. Generally, I just want to enjoy wearing a skirt/dress rather than jeans which I can be found wearing most days.

Maxi it up!

Hello everyone,

I really wanted to do this post outside, however, the weather had other ideas. So you all get a lovely view of my hallway instead (I actually hit my heading taking these pictures as the ceilings are far to low for me and my heels!). I purchased this maxi skirt just after I finished my exams when the weather was boiling hot and from then on the weather has just got worse and worse, maybe I jinxed it a bit by buying the skirt?!

This is actually the first maxi skirt I have owned, I know shocker, everyone says how amazing they are but I never thought they would suit me. That was until I saw this beauty. The moment I tried it on I knew I had to have it.

Maxi skirts are so versatile, I love pairing this one with plain vests and wearing them with converse for a casual laid back look and then like in this post you can also pair them with black wedges for a slightly more glammed up look.

Celebrating over 200 followers giveaway!

Hey guys,

So I meant to do this a while ago when I actually first reached 200 followers but I have been kind of busy sorting myself out for my work experience placement, which I started today. I don't know whether it is just me but I never know what is classed as acceptable work wear and so it takes me ages to choose an outfit. In the end I settled on a dress over black leggings, I couldn't quite bring myself to go for the full on black pencil skirt as I just don't think it is quite me, I always need something with a little bit more character.

Anyway I now present my FIRST EVER GIVEAWAY!!

So it took me ages to find some things that I thought were worthy of my first giveaway and in the end I decided on these beauties...

A cute little silver pendant necklace from accessorize.

 I think it's the perfect necklace that can go with anything, you can wear it over a dress as I have done or you can just pair it with a plain white t-shirt.

In addition to this there are also two Barry M nail polishes. Racing green on the right, which gives a nice metallic shine to your nails and on the left is glitter hologram hexagons in silver.

Jubilee nail art!

Hello lovelies,

It's the Queen's Diamond Jubilee this weekend (yay 4 day weekend), 60 years of her reign, I think that is pretty impressive! I thought I would show my patriotism through the use of nail art. I wanted to put a slight spin on the typical red, white and blue union jack, so instead I went for pastel colours, which consisted of a pastel blue (blue moon Barry M), a light pink (urban princess Rimmel) and white (models own nail art pen). What do you all think?

Also in this picture I am sure you couldn't help but notice my quirky new camera ring, which I actually won on kukee's blog a couple of weeks ago.
