MADE IN CHELSEA

Jacket - AllSaints
Shirt - Zara
Jeans - Topshop
Trainers - Adidas
Bag - Ted Baker
Today the boyfriend and I thought we would try and fit in some exercise into our weekend routines, as too often we end up lounging on the sofa wondering where the time has gone. So we headed out on a stroll to Battersea park and something just came over us and we couldn't seem to stop walking, then before we knew it we had crossed the bridge and ended up in Chelsea. Chelsea has some of the most beautiful buildings and little alleyways I have ever seen. So with all this idyllic scenery around me I thought it would be perfect for shooting some blog photos.

The weather was actually quite mild so I could wonder around happily with my leather jacket on and not feel freezing, I also took my new over sized checkered shirt out for a spin, it's so cosy and you can sneakily hide extra layers underneath if you need a little bit of extra warmth.

Oh by the way if you ever happen to stumble into Chelsea like us, then head to Kings Road and the restaurant Polpo in the square does some of the best food I have tasted! Not to mention you get a nice view of the Saatchi gallery.

Hope you all had a lovely weekend.

LAYERS & LAYERS & MORE LAYERS...

Jumper - Vintage
Cardigan - AllSaints
Jeans - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Bag - Ted Baker
Scarf - Topshop
Bonjour, so as you may have guessed I am having a quiet Saturday night in!

The other half and I spent most of the day wondering around the amazingly graffiti-ed little streets of Shoreditch looking for some cute antiques for our new pad which we are due to hopefully move into in the next coming months. That's right I'm finally moving! After running out of space for all our stuff in our small one bed, we are hopefully due to move in the next couple of months, and I can't wait! And it's safe to say this excitement is manifesting itself on my Pinterest page, with rustic home interior pins becoming a very regular occurrence.

Now on to the important part of this post and not my ramblings. The outfit. So today was rediculously chilly, which meant one thing when it came to an outfit choice. Layers.

In today's outfit I am actually wearing not 2 but 4 layers; a vest top, light jumper, cardigan and then a leather jacket. And this still didn't stop the cold. My favourite piece within this ensemble is definitely my AllSaints cardigan, I have had it for 3 years now and it's still going strong. You can actually clip it at the front, giving it a nice drape effect, so very versatile.

How are you all managing to stay stylish but battle the cold?

SPORTING A NEW LOOK

Jumper - French Connection
Coat - AllSaints
Jeans - Topshop
Trainers - Nike
Bag - Ted Baker
Necklace - Banana Republic
I don't know about any of you but January has been a very busy time at work and has sadly stopped me blogging for a while. But I'm finally back and with a brand new blog layout too, let me know what you think about it. I'm still learning how to code a few more of the sections but I definitely think it is a huge improvement.

So as well as the new look of my blog, I feel like my style has taken a slight turn, maybe a bit behind the trend but I have finally invested in a pair of Nike trainers that aren't just for the gym, I have to say they have revolutionised my life, especially in London where you do sooo much walking!

I went for a sports luxe look on Saturday, pairing my Nike trainers with my French Connection sweater, the perfect lazy outfit for roaming around London flat hunting, some exciting news to share shortly, but don't want to share too prematurely...

Hope you all had a fab weekend!
