'Check' you out!

Grey Top - All Saints
Check Top - Cheap shop in Dubai but you can find similar in H&M
Leggings - Topshop
Heels - Bank
Necklace - Vintage

I have been counting down to the Easter weekend for I don't know how long, mainly so I can sleep but also because I made a promise to myself that I would start getting back into blogging. I find being back home it is so much easier to take photos, whereas in London there is always so many people on the street that I always get funny looks when I'm trying to take photos.

Any way, enough of my gibba gabba, here is my latest outfit post, my Mum and Dad are actually moving house so I have been wearing this checkered top all day whilst trying to clear out the garage. I guess I was trying to recreate the outfits you see in films when people are moving house, all I need now is the denim dungarees!

Also whilst clearing out my room I found these heels in the back of my wardrobe, unworn! I couldn't believe it, they are so comfortable as well, I will definitely be wearing them on on Sunday for some bank holiday antics :)

I hope you are all enjoying the lovely sunshine.

"Cause I'm a gypsy, are you coming with me?"

Top - Vintage
Skirt - Urban Outfitters
Bag - River Island
Sandals Topshop
Necklace - Vintage

Coming back from Thailand I have been really inspired by all the ethnic print clothing, I managed to bag two bargain ethnic print trousers that I basically live in in my flat. I also follow Sara's blog at http://waiste.blogspot.co.uk/ and if any of you follow her as well you will know that she wears some incredible hippy inspired outfits, so hence I decided to do a post inspired by Thailand and the wonderful Sara at Waiste.

The crochet top was a recent purchase from Rokit Vintage, only £15 and considering the amount of beading and detail I thought it was an absolute steal, especially as they are trying to sell similar ones in Topshop for around £40! I then paired it with my ethnic print maxi and my Topshop flatform sandals. I mainly love this outfit because it's so comfy and relaxed yet I still look like I have put a bit of effort into what I'm wearing. The perfect way to dress in my opinion.

Mix and Match

Hey guys,

So I am back off holiday sooner than expected but I still have some fab pictures to show you. But before that I wanted to show you all one of my outfits I put together recently.

I decided to try mixing up some prints as I have seen that a lot of designers are doing it at the moment. It has always been something I have wanted to experiment with but have never been brave enough, I normally always pick things that I know will definitely go together. However, I was pleasantly surprised by the outcome. I mixed a grey snake skin print playsuit with a vintage striped shirt, what do you all think to the outcome?

Shirt - Vintage
Trainer - Converse
Necklace - Topshop

I have also noticed that I seem to have a slight obsession with my converses, I seem to be wearing them in far to many of my outfit posts, think I need to invest in a few more pairs of shoes. Ah well I think I can cope with a little shoe shopping spree :)

Hope you are all having a great start to the week...

RIP to the girl you used to see...

Hey guys,

What miserable weather we are having at the moment, I wanted to be really inventive with my photos outside today but instead I am stuck inside having to make the most of the stairs outside of my bedroom. So apologies for the lack of creativity.

I received another wonderful package yesterday from susietuesday boutique, I can't get enough of their vintage items at the moment, they really do have some great stuff. This time I decided to pick a brown 60's shirt and a black sheer blouse as I thought they were both so versatile and could be paired with almost anything. So what do you guys think...

Shorts - RiverIsland
Hoody - Topshop
Necklace - Topshop

Sheer blous - Vintage - susietuesday

Hope you guys are having a good week, my blog may get a bit quieter soon as my exams start on Tuesday..eekk! Slightly scared but just can't wait to have them over with.

Love at first sight!

Hello everyone,

Now I promise this will be my last post for a while where I babble on about how much I love vintage because I am sure you are getting sick of it already. I just thought I would show you two amazing pieces that arrived in the post for me this morning, I found them on Asos marketplace, from a very cute little boutique called SusieTuesday (which can be found here susietuesday) . I was so excited when I saw it had arrived and possibly a little nervous as you never know quite how online vintage pieces will look on you, however, that didn't stop me ripping the parcel to shreds to get to the yummy goodies inside.

Well here is my first piece, it is a vintage 60's oversized clashing print top that I am absolutely in love with. The clashing prints work really well together (further down there is a close up of the pattern) and I love how slouchy and comfy it is, it is perfect for my laid back style.

Shorts - River Island
Tights - M&S
Necklace - River Island

Next, in my goody bag was this over sized floral print pastel blouse. When I first saw this I actually thought you could unbutton it all the way, but it is actually more like a jumper as only the first two buttons undo. However, this was not a turn off, if anything it made it more unusual and made me like it more. I remember the look on my Mum's face when I first pulled it out, as she wondered why I would want to where something my Nan would have worn. However, I think we can safely say she was presently surprised once it was styled up and I think it got the seal of approval.

Here is a close up of the items if you wanted to get a better feel for the patterns.

So what do you guys think? Do I get your votes, yes or no to my vintage items??

Viva la Vintage

Hello everyone,

So today I felt inspired to bring out some of my old vintage stuff and the first thing that caught by eye was my Aztec cardigan. I love Aztec print at the moment and the pastel colours in the cardigan are amazing. It was just about warm enough today to pair it with my denim shorts but not quite warm enough to brave them without tights. So anyway here's what I managed to put together...

I also just wanted to show you guys a close up of the shorts because I think they are just unique enough for my liking without being too loud and striking because I didn't want them to over power my cardigan. I love the black paint that's splattered across them, might actually try that out as a DIY soon on an old pair that needs a new lease of life.

An here's a close up of the cardigan pattern. I like how the colours all compliment each other and the detail within the pattern is breath taking...love love love this cardigan. I think it is an essential for those cool summer evening!

Vest - Zara
Shorts - Topshop
Tights - M&S
Necklaces - Topshop

So do you guys love vintage as much as me? What is your favourite piece?
