SIMPLES

I have spent most of this week trying to catch up on sleep but unfortunately the Sainsbury's that is currently being built below our building is ruining my sleeping plans. I'm sure it will be great and extremely convenient once it's built (...midnight choccies in my PJs) but for now I would quite like to be able to lie in past 8am!

Consequentially due to my lack of sleep, in the fashion department I am opting for very laid-back outfits that don't take a lot of effort or prep. It turned out that my lovely new Zara trousers fitted my needs perfectly and they still managed to make me look half presentable. I paired my trousers with a black cami I brought ages ago from Urban Outfitters before camis were even a massive trend, it just turned out to be a bonus that they are now extremely in fashion.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, needless to say I am very much looking forward to tomorrow morning as no building work takes place on a Sunday!! :)

Fix up, look sharp.

Shirt - Topshop
Skirt - Topshop
Necklace - River Island
Boots - Urban Outfitters
Just a quick post today, as I am extremely tired and I'm suffering from my second cold in two weeks! It actually seems like I have had more colds since working than I did throughout my whole uni life!

This outfit post was basically to show you my new shirt that I actually bought to wear to work but it turned out that I much preferred it as a casual top, it's weird how my style has changed since working, I think I definitely dress smarter on the weekend than I used to, I mean I wear trousers rather than jeans at the weekend...what is happening to me?! The main reason I love this shirt is the contrast in patterns, all my favourite prints are in one. You have checkered, stripes and polka dots so what's not to love!

What do you all think to my outfit choice?

STYLIGHT

Photos taken from STYLIGHT website

Have you heard of STYLIGHT? Well if you haven't let me fill you in.

Stylight is a fashion haven, it has everything you could possibly want to know about fashion all under one roof. From inspirational looks put forward by the fashion community to shopping the latest trends.

The fashion community is one of the main things I love about STYLIGHT, thousands of new looks are uploaded every day and you have the added bonus of being able to buy most of the products, so you will never be stuck for outfit inspiration. On top of all this, if something really catches your eye you can 'heart' it which then adds the look or product to your personal profile. So your profile becomes your ultimate wishlist, your go to fashion scrap book if you will.

As well as the fashion community you can also shop thousands of brands and millions of products and if you ever get stuck for what to look for, just ask the fashion community what they 'heart'. STYLIGHT has it all, the biggest brands, noteworthy new labels and popular designers.

So go on check out STYLIGHT for yourself....http://www.stylight.co.uk/

You can also follow my style there too!

Something up your sleeve...

Jumper - French Connection
Jeans - 7forallmankind
Boots - Topshop
Necklace - Topshop

Hello everyone...

So it's the weekend yet again and I don't know about anyone else but I am finding that it is still actually reasonably warm outside. I keep expecting it to get cold so I always take a coat with me, but so far (touch wood) I have never had to use it. So it is definitely safe to say October is being kind to us on the weather front.

In response to this little bit of warmth I decided to get out my cut out sleeved jumper, as it's nice to still be able to have some skin on show, even if it is my arms! The thing I love most about this jumper is how slouchy and cozy it is yet if I pair it with a chunky necklace and heels I can look reasonably dressed up, well at least dressed up enough to head out to a bar, which I think I might be doing later.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend, if anyone is out in Shoreditch tonight let me know because there is a high probability I will be making an appearance there.

MOM Jeans Stylin'

Jumper - H&M
MOM Jeans - Renewal Urban Outfitters
Boots - Urban Outfitters
Necklace - Topshop

Hello everyone...

This post a little bit late considering these vintage MOM jeans were given to me as a birthday present off my boyfriend 2 weeks ago! So my apologies. I also seem to be a bit late jumping on the MOM jeans band wagon, but then again I guess you could say that we are all extremely late getting on the trend considering it really started in the 1960's!

Buy anyway, I love them all the same even if no one else is wearing them anymore.

When I wear my MOM jeans it's normally because I want to have a laid back comfortable style that day and this is why I like to pair them with cropped knitted jumpers. This way I can be slouchy yet still keep some style to my outfit, I mean whoever said fashion means pain clearly hasn't had a look in my wardrobe! I then topped the whole look off with my new ankle boots and this awesome chunky necklace that my friends gave me for my birthday (best mates ever!).

What do you all think to MOM jeans? Do you own a pair?

Brick Lane Fun

Jumper - Topshop
Treggings - Mango
Faux Fur Gilet - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Cross Necklace - Topshop
Bag - River Island

Hello Everyone...

Well my lazy Sunday afternoon was mainly spent wandering around the markets on Brick Lane. What I love about this place is that there is so much going on you don't even have to buy anything to have fun, for instance, in the picture above there was a man playing 4 games of chess at the same time and he was winning in all of them, it kept me entertained for at least half an hour! But of course it was lunch time when I arrived and so I could hardly say no to a pulled pork bap and a few other treats.

What I also love about Brick Lane is the amount of street art, the walls don't just have your average graffiti instead there are pieces of art that look like they must have taken days to finish, such as the head hog painting above. I decided that I would use another piece of graffiti as my backdrop as I thought you are all probably getting bored of seeing my living room wall. So here is what I wore to Brick Lane. It was a little bit chilly so I thought that I would layer slightly rather than putting on a full winter coat, as I'm still slightly in denial that we actually have to start wearing coats again. I decided I would layer my fur gilet over my ombre knitted jumper and then to make the whole outfit a little less bulky I then paired it with my skinny treggings, then hey presto I was ready to fit in with the Shoredicth crowd.

Have any of you been to Brick Lane, did you manage to grab any bargains?

Boots - Topshop
Triangle Necklace - UO
Cross Necklace - Gift
Rings - Topshop, Italian Shop and Gift
Bag - River Island

Hey everyone! Gosh doesn't LFW look amazing, the Ashish show looked incredible. I wish I could have gone but unfortunately I'm all work and no play at the moment. Ah well I guess there's always next year (sigh).

Thankfully though, this weekend I found a bit of spare time to indulge in a little retail therapy as I had a little bit of birthday money to play with. I will upload a haul post shortly but I just wanted to show you all this dress from Urban Outfitters that I purchased. The colour caught might eye straight away and the pattern is stunning, so stunning in fact that as you can see I didn't leave the shop without it. I had to wear a belt with it because unfortunately they didn't have my size and so I had to buy the size up, but I quite like the baggy look with a sinched in waist. I then paired it with my now 'standard' patent boots and some of my favourite gems.

Have any of you been to LFW? If so I am very jealous!
