MOM Jeans Stylin'

Jumper - H&M
MOM Jeans - Renewal Urban Outfitters
Boots - Urban Outfitters
Necklace - Topshop

Hello everyone...

This post a little bit late considering these vintage MOM jeans were given to me as a birthday present off my boyfriend 2 weeks ago! So my apologies. I also seem to be a bit late jumping on the MOM jeans band wagon, but then again I guess you could say that we are all extremely late getting on the trend considering it really started in the 1960's!

Buy anyway, I love them all the same even if no one else is wearing them anymore.

When I wear my MOM jeans it's normally because I want to have a laid back comfortable style that day and this is why I like to pair them with cropped knitted jumpers. This way I can be slouchy yet still keep some style to my outfit, I mean whoever said fashion means pain clearly hasn't had a look in my wardrobe! I then topped the whole look off with my new ankle boots and this awesome chunky necklace that my friends gave me for my birthday (best mates ever!).

What do you all think to MOM jeans? Do you own a pair?

Brick Lane Fun

Jumper - Topshop
Treggings - Mango
Faux Fur Gilet - Topshop
Boots - Topshop
Cross Necklace - Topshop
Bag - River Island

Hello Everyone...

Well my lazy Sunday afternoon was mainly spent wandering around the markets on Brick Lane. What I love about this place is that there is so much going on you don't even have to buy anything to have fun, for instance, in the picture above there was a man playing 4 games of chess at the same time and he was winning in all of them, it kept me entertained for at least half an hour! But of course it was lunch time when I arrived and so I could hardly say no to a pulled pork bap and a few other treats.

What I also love about Brick Lane is the amount of street art, the walls don't just have your average graffiti instead there are pieces of art that look like they must have taken days to finish, such as the head hog painting above. I decided that I would use another piece of graffiti as my backdrop as I thought you are all probably getting bored of seeing my living room wall. So here is what I wore to Brick Lane. It was a little bit chilly so I thought that I would layer slightly rather than putting on a full winter coat, as I'm still slightly in denial that we actually have to start wearing coats again. I decided I would layer my fur gilet over my ombre knitted jumper and then to make the whole outfit a little less bulky I then paired it with my skinny treggings, then hey presto I was ready to fit in with the Shoredicth crowd.

Have any of you been to Brick Lane, did you manage to grab any bargains?

Hey everyone! Gosh doesn't LFW look amazing, the Ashish show looked incredible. I wish I could have gone but unfortunately I'm all work and no play at the moment. Ah well I guess there's always next year (sigh).

Thankfully though, this weekend I found a bit of spare time to indulge in a little retail therapy as I had a little bit of birthday money to play with. I will upload a haul post shortly but I just wanted to show you all this dress from Urban Outfitters that I purchased. The colour caught might eye straight away and the pattern is stunning, so stunning in fact that as you can see I didn't leave the shop without it. I had to wear a belt with it because unfortunately they didn't have my size and so I had to buy the size up, but I quite like the baggy look with a sinched in waist. I then paired it with my now 'standard' patent boots and some of my favourite gems.

Have any of you been to LFW? If so I am very jealous!

What's The Big Idea?!

Sorry I have been a bit MIA the past week, it has been hectic at work and I had my 22nd Birthday on Friday (and yes I did play Taylor Swift 22 haha), so I was home this weekend chilling/partying in the countryside. I would have taken some birthday present pics except I mainly got money, so I think there will definitely be a massive haul post coming up!

Anyway, I thought I would show you my last slightly summery outfit that I wore last week before the weather took a turn for the worst. I found a new love for maxi skirts over the summer as they are extremely flattering especially on those days where you don't really feeling like flashing your legs. I then paired it with my new crop top (because you have to show some skin somewhere) and finished the whole look with my platform wedges. I guess actually I could wear maxi skirts in winter if I wore thick tights and a big knitted jumper with them.

What do you guys think of maxi skirts in winter?

In a Far Away Galaxy

Dress - Evil Twin
Boots - Office
Necklaces - Cross (gift), long pendant (Urban Outfitters)

Hey guys,

So after my night out yesterday I am feeling pretty shattered, every taxi driver I asked refused to take me from Shoreditch to Canada Water and I have no idea why, other than they are extremely lazy, so I ended up having to get two buses, which took an hour!

My lack of sleep meant I didn't really feel like putting on a fussy outfit so I decided I would just slip this dress on and pair it with my staple Office flat form boots. This outfit is so simple, yet makes a real statement, which I love. The velvet texture of the dress is also so comfy and soft, it's like being constantly cuddled throughout the day and who would say no to that.

I hope you are all having a lovely weekend and making the most of the sun. I think I might head to the park soon to catch the last of the days rays.
